You Can't EscapeDaintily, she placed one foot in front of the other. Petals of soft pink glided to the ground all around her and came to rest on the grass on which she walked. A light breeze only slightly came to ruffle her hair. Gracefully, it swept back from her face revealing tear-stained cheeks. In a world so peaceful, in a world so filled with hope and promise, who was this girl to be crying? And yet, she couldn't help it. Although she wandered through a place so beautiful, she was trapped within her own darkness and the chains that had captured her heart held on fast, tightening their grip with every chance they received.
